After her studies, Roos worked for the University of Amsterdam (University Library). After seven years, she returned to her native Curaçao. As manager of a trade information centre – comparable to the Chamber of Commerce – she is responsible for the internal business operations and as coordinator for the coordination, guidance and management of various projects. After three years, she returned to the Netherlands and worked for two HR & consultancy agencies for seven years, specialising in recruitment, selection and executive search (headhunting). She worked in the research department and was responsible for information mediation. After a career switch, she coached and supervised students from the Antilles and travelled for ten years between the Netherlands, Curaçao, Sint Maarten, Bonaire, Sint Eustatius and Saba to prepare students for their new life in the Netherlands. Roos is a specialist in coaching and supervising people, and in coordinating, supporting and organising projects.
