Pieter Klapwijk is an independent advisor in the field of Supply Chain Finance. In addition, he is an emeritus professor in Supply Chain Economics and Supply Chain Finance at Nyenrode Business University. He also sits on the board of the Supply Chain Finance Community, an international network of knowledge institutes, corporations and professionals in the field of Supply Chain Finance. Klapwijk is co-founder of this network. In the past Klapwijk worked for the United Nations and consultancy A.T.Kearney. He is also a co-founder of Trimoteur, a company that set up or restructured several companies. This also includes Sandd, which in 2015 covered a quarter of the Dutch postal market. Klapwijk is currently one of the founders involved in a startup that combines Blockchain with Supply Chain Finance.
